Designing the Tiled Muscle Tank

MEET THE ARTIST BEHIND OUR LATEST GRAPHIC TANK

Before our products are created in either Uganda or Peru, they are first designed at our Costa Mesa, California HQ by our lead designer Tina. From new silhouettes of essential basics or fresh prints for weekender bags or headwear, every product begins as a sketch in Tina's notebook. While many patterns and graphic prints are inspired by the beautiful and culturally rich places which we work, the Tiled Muscle Tank's print was created by local artist Danny Schutt. Each tank features Schutt's design, originally created with a printmaking technique using ink and a roller. Made from 100% locally sourced cotton and created at our Cut and Sew division in Peru, no graphic tank is complete without the signature of the lady who made it, and you can learn her story and send her a message of gratitude here.
