SHINE A LIGHT ON SLAVERY WITH END IT MOVEMENT

In the year 2016, there are over 27,000,000 people trapped in slavery across the globe. END IT Movement is a coalition of organizations working towards raising awareness about modern day slavery all over the world. Since 2013, they have raised over $4,000,000 to not only bring consciousness to this issue, but provide support in the form of prevention, rescue and restoration to those in slavery. We recently partnered with END IT Movement to create products for their online store that not only provide the women in our program with a job, mentorship, and education but allow END IT Movement to support their anti-slavery mission by featuring products made with the producer in mind. The products in the top row of their shop are all made by our beneficiaries and hand-signed by the lady who made it. Today is END IT Movement's Shine a Light on Slavery Day. We're so excited to be partner with END IT Movement, the women in our programs in both Uganda and Peru are showing their support by drawing a red 'X' on their hands as a symbol of the millions of individuals trapped in modern slavery.
