November 2009 How many stores are there now? 11 Why are you excited to be carrying Krochet Kids intl. products? Besides the fact that we love the product - many of our associates our Krochet Kids best advocates - Altar'd State is thrilled to have a partner that cares about the future of our world, and is willing to give back so freely. What's your favorite spring/ summer product? We love the tams and head wraps. they are a really great weight... no matter what season. Our customers love them and wait for each new shipment. What are you most excited about for spring/ summer? As with every season, we are most excited about giving back. With every item we sell of Krochet Kids and several other great partners, we know that we are helping someone in need. In addition to look for give back traits in our vendor partners, we offer our associates paid volunteer hours and give proceeds each month to a worthy cause. We love offering fashion solutions, but our greatest joy is giving back. What helps your store stand apart from other retailers? In addition to offering a vast assortment of unique styles, we are happiest about our steadfast culture of giving back. see above... What would you pack for the perfect spring picnic? Soft, loose romantic layers. A long skirt that flows in the breeze, a top with just the right amount of ruffles and lace, a lush wrap, and of course... a Krochet Kids tam or head wrap :) I would like to say strappy sandals, but the truth is barefoot is the best way to picnic. In your opinion, what's the best food and drink of the south? Drink? Sweet Tea. Food? sausage gravy and biscuits. Do you have a message you'd like to share with the KKi community?
