A Milestone Moment at Krochet Kids Peru

The Business Plan Competition is a right of passage for the women who take part in our empowerment programs, as it puts many of the skills and trainings we do to the test. Even more, hosting the first competition is a milestone moment for the program location as well. Uganda had done business plan competitions previously, but in 2015 it was Krochet Kids Peru's turn. Our goal has always been to prepare women for a future beyond our programs. One where they are caring and providing for their families by operating in careers or businesses that they are passionate about. This is what we believe to be true empowerment.
