We closed out 2012 with a bang! It was a celebration of the culmination of 5 years of hard work for us and our amazing supporters... YOU! After a crazy week of voting and Facebook trying to shut down each of our personal accounts due to "overuse" we were honored with an American Giving Award and a $500K grant from Chase Bank. Unfortunately, due to the edits that were made for the TV version of the award show, the majority of our acceptance speech was cut. We recently obtained the full speech and wanted to share it with you all. This is what we really wanted to share to the world... Thanks to Chase, NBC, and to all the other organizations that are doing amazing work and making our world a better place.
