Uganda trip for 'Give the Gift of LOVE' winners!

As you probably remember, last holiday season we hosted our 2nd annual Give the Gift of LOVE campaign. For those that participated in helping us sell hats and spread the word about KKi, there were 3 opportunities to win a trip to go to Uganda and meet the ladies that make our hats. We just returned from that trip last week and if I could describe it in 2 words I would say... "life altering". Above are the trip winners w/ our staff at the Krochet Kids Uganda compound. And below are some of the photos from their adventure. Of the Give the Gift of LOVE participants it was everyone's first trip to Africa. Everyday was a new experience which offered challenging perspective and overwhelming emotion. We all felt fortunate to be your ambassadors and bring the stories of you all who are proudly wearing their products and sharing their stories. Keep it up... it is making a difference!
