Recap: Face to Face

Our Annual Fundraising Gala

Every year we host a fundraising gala called "Face to Face" in both Newport Beach, Calfornia (the backyard to our Costa Mesa HQ), and Seattle, Washington. This event is one we look forward to each year because we are able to connect our supporters and donors with the people that are on the ground at our empowerment projects each and every day. We enjoy sharing highlights of the year and celebrating alongside one another. Under the twinkling lights of the Lido theater, we enjoy appetizers from the Fork in the Road Catering, a local favorite, and enjoyed the company of new and familiar supporters and donors. This year we were fortunate enough to have Idro Dominic, our Country Leader in KK Uganda and Patricia, our Lead Mentor in KK Peru speak at the event. Their first-hand accounts of the success and progress of the women in our program was incredibly moving. We believe the world is changed through relationships, so we were honored to give our supporters the opportunity to meet and learn from our international staff, face to face.
