Peru + ODW + You

As many of you know we recently announced our involvement in Lima, Peru. By next holiday season we hope to offer some of the finest Krochet Kids intl. hats to date, hand-knit with Peruvian yarn and carrying the signature of a woman in Lima whose story is about to radically change. We cannot wait. However, what is more important than even the product itself is the nature by which we empower the people who make it. What sets us apart is our attention to the holistic care of our employees and program beneficiaries. This is not a quick process, but we look forward to walking alongside Peruvian people and understanding what this looks like in their unique cultural context. It is in these early stages of our program where we invite YOU to get involved. We rely on the efforts of many to effect change on a very personal level. Our partnership with One Day's Wages offers an amazing opportunity for you to host a campaign for your birthday, wedding reception, or marathon participation. You can help us take the first steps toward empowering women in Peru through employment and education. Our intern Caitlin created a video showcasing how easy it is to set up a campaign.
