Out of the Office, into the Compound

There are so many different steps in the process of hat to hand. Here’s a little snippet from Uganda to give you a glimpse into the lives behind one of them. Meet the tailors! TAILORS | Josca, one of our three tailors here at the compound in Gulu, sews labels into the KKi hats sold around the world. Our tailors touch every hat made and ensure that the final steps of the production process are just as beautifully crafted as the hats themselves. Often I am working in the same room as our tailors and not a day goes by without joyful laughter breaking out among them. These ladies are such strong, beautiful women and getting to share life with them day in and day out is just another stitch in the Krochet Kids journey. -Hannah
