Out of the Office, into the Compound

Business Training The women continued on in their business classes this week here at the compound while working on their hat production. Mentors Christine, Susie & Susan led the group in their training. At one point from my office I heard so much laughter I had to look out and caught a glimpse of the ladies playing some sort of dancing game. Looked like a fun class to me! Many of the women here have started their own businesses or are still in the planning stages, but it is clear that these classes play a huge role in enabling the women to do so. The education gained in this time is valuable for generations past their own; through their children and future grandchildren! -Hannah
